1. Click the layer 0
2. Click the “Crate a New Layer”
3. Ctrl-click layer 0 to load the image selection
4. Press D to make foreground color black
5. “Select menu” -> Modify, Expand –>20 pixels
6. With new layer still the active layer, press Alt-Delete to fill selection with black.
7. Ctrl-click Layer 0 again to load the selection
8. “Select menu” -> Modify, Contract –>10 pixels
9. With new layer still the active layer, press Delete key and then Ctrl-D to deselect.
10. Add rough edge to the frame. with new layer is active, “Filter menu”-> Brush Strokes, Spatter. type 16 for Spray Radius and 9 for Smoothness.
11. Fix fringing by using Magic Wand tool and click inside the black-frame area. load only the black areas. “Select menu” -> Modify, Contract –>3 pixels. Ctrl-Shift-I to invert. Delete key to remove the fringe. Ctrl-D to deselect.

D - make the default colors black and white
Alt+double click on the layers – regular background layer becomes ordinary layer.Crop- 1. select the wanted part.
2. Ctrl-Shift-I to invert
3. press the Delete(backspace) key
4. Ctrl-D to deselect.
V – move tool (could use the arrow keys to move the layer)
During the text insert - 1. Hold Ctrl key to toggle the Move Tool.
2. Ctrl-Enter to commit the text.

Always make a layer of background first before editing.Tools:
Dodge Tool – Make the pic looks like finished by a real flash after the auto QuickFix. (Under Toolbox)
Burn Tool – darkens the area. (Under Toolbox)
Distort Transform – fix distorted pic.
After the transform: 1. Use (Layers, Flatten Image) to remove the barrel distortion
2. Filter, Distort, Pinch with 11 percent
Unsharp Mask(Under Filter) – Keep Threshold at 0 levels, Radius at a value between 1 and 2 and adjust the “Amount” Slider until the image looks right.
Red Eye Brush Tool – Usually use more than 70 for the tolerance value for the red eyes.
Brightness and Contrast.
Levels (advanced brightness and contrast) – with other names of histogram equalization, equalization and contrast enhancement. ….
- shadows (left), midtone (middle), and hightlights (right)
Gaussian Blur – for Professional Blur for background. (at a mild setting (2.0))
Clone – removing the unwanted object. (make sure the aligned check box is unchecked.
Inverting selection (Ctrl-Shift-I)
Framing Project -
1. select the entire image and then save the selection.
2. Canvas Size (Image, resize, Canvas Size). Check the Relative check box, the desired width (.5 inch this case) and click OK.
3. Invert (Ctrl-Shift-I)
4. Select Texturizer (Filter menu, under Texture). Select Canvas (If a large image, the scaling could be 200 percent.)
5. From the Effects Palette, double-click the Recessed Frame effect.
6. Remove the selection (Ctrl-D), open the Effects palette, and double-click the Foreground Color frame.
